I really believe there is something that needs looking into here. At the first sitting of the House after 2 weeks, I heard the PM say, once again, that the first community case was not known until Monday the 16th of August. I also heard Ashely Bloomfield say this during the announcements from the podium.
My story begins on the 11th of August during a visit to my dentist in Napier. While the injection was sinking in, he asked me if I knew about the planned lockdown.
“Well, no,” I replied,” I didn’t.” He told me that his friend in management in Fletcher’s in Auckland had told him. Apparently, certain business leaders had been called in to a government department and had been told.
I then heard a series of “whispers” from nurses from both Middlemore and Auckland City Hospital that the source of Delta was the UN worker arriving from Fiji late July/very early August. I heard that message from a friend who has a friend in nursing in Auckland.
I also saw this post on Facebook.
Until Sunday the 22nd of August, the Health Department website listed places of interest going back to the 1st of August. They were taken down on Sunday afternoon. Someone on Facebook posted about this fact on Sunday morning. I wish I had taken a screenshot. The list now only goes back to the 12th of August.
On the 10th of August, the Japanese Embassy announced the lockdown planned for the 18th of August and put this data on their website.
Below is a letter sent to a gentleman who had surgery planned telling him that his surgery is being cancelled. Note the date. The letter was written on the 13th of August.
On Monday the 16th of August Ashley Bloomfield told us all that one case of community delta had been found on that day (the 16th) and that we were all going into lockdown on the 18th of August.
I believe that this government has been telling us porkies again! And I suspect that the answer lies with the UN worker imported to New Zealand thanks to pressure from Helen Clark.
