Tiger

Tiger, a tenacious, surprisingly well-educated animal, living and working in the real world.  Having to come up with staff wages every week sharpens the senses.

The elites in the ancient Roman empire valued the colour purple, on account of the rarity (and price) of the vivid purple dye.  Sumptuary laws dictated that only the elite could have access to this dye and so it became a status symbol of the rich and powerful. The privileged status they were able to join was a veritable “purple circle.”

Today we see laws enacted by the elite that restrict the freedoms of the plebeians. But don’t expect the elite to lose their own freedoms or income. Currently, our political and bureaucratic elite, supported by the tech barons, are crushing freedoms in the name of saving the plebeians from a certain death.

Stepping out from the shadows though, is a far more sinister purple circle of unelected globalists, holding sway over our democratic society through their mouthpieces such as WHO, WEF and the UN.

There are multiple examples where draconian rules are forced on the plebs but are flouted by the elite. For instance:

  • Holidaying during lockdown: governors in the USA (Whitmer from Michigan)
  • Obama’s 500 guest and 200 staff 60th birthday in economically asphyxiated California
  • Gladys Berejiklian’s coffee run sans mask (and not an apology)
  • Fully paid public servant, chief medical officers, declaring a lockdown on a handful of cases whilst the plebs go incomeless.
  • And closer to home, our bike riding minister of (cough) health, during lockdown.

To add insult to injury, Larry Page cruises in and out of New Zealand with nary a peep and an unnamed UN flunky gets preferential treatment over the plebs.

Meanwhile, the very un-purple high-viz-wearing plebs are being forsaken at the altar of ignorance and indifference by the un-empathetic troughers working within the purple circle.

One thing the immortal emperors of ancient Rome understood was that you forget where your power comes from at your peril. Those who did forget, remain consigned to the dustbin of history, something I long to see happen to our current occupants of the purple circle.
