These Backdoor Agendas You Don’t Know About

This is how these far-left extremists get their agendas in through the back door. It’s not a weird conspiracy theory: it is a weird conspiracy fact.

Did you know that YOU are paying for the new council water companies to implement the policies of a secretive organisation called the Club of Rome with a plan to depopulate the world? Sounds like a weird conspiracy theory!

The Club of Rome is hardly a secret (https://www.clubofrome.org/). It is, in fact, a famous international ‘think tank’ in Switzerland with strong ties to the WEF, also based in Switzerland. However, its operations are secretive: membership is limited to 150 people and is by invitation only, such as heads of state and UN administrators. In 1972, it published The Limits to Growth, a report that gained world-wide prominence and has been used to justify depopulation.

A quick sample of the first two members listed alphabetically reveals Alexander Ageev, an economics professor who happens to be head of department at a nuclear research university in Moscow and another university in Beijing, and Helmy Abouleish, an Egyptian, listed as a member of the Schwab Foundation (WEF), a firekeeper of the World Ethic Forum and a counsellor of the World Future Council. At this point, it reads like a bad AI spy novel.

Just what has this got to do with New Zealand?

The water companies were created because councils squandered all the money they collected to maintain ageing water pipes and got into so much debt that they can’t afford to build new ones for a growing population. The water companies are permitted by legislation to borrow more money without it counting towards councils’ bad credit.

That new borrowing comes from the Local Government Funding Agency (LGFA), the same organisation that lent too much to councils. To close the loop, the LGFA is owned by councils, and pays a dividend to councils from the profit it makes by lending to councils. You might need to read that a couple of times.

The LGFA borrows the money by selling bonds internationally. Bond buyers, like big banks and foreign sovereign wealth funds, like LGFA bonds because they are guaranteed by councils and secured against rates. In the event of a council’s default, New Zealand law allows the LGFA to appoint a receiver to recover money by increasing your rates and, if you can’t pay, selling your house. Did your council ever tell you that?

The water companies are supposedly council controlled organisations (CCO), meaning the councils are shareholders and can tell the waters companies what to do. YOU have the power through your democratic representatives. Or do you?

Follow the money. The real power obviously belongs to whoever gives money to the water companies. They are pointless if they cannot borrow and they only have one source.

The LGFA has set up some new loans especially for the water companies, called Sustainable Water Action Loans (SWALes): https://www.lgfa.co.nz/sites/default/files/2026-07/lgfa-swal-criteria-f.pdf.

It sounds great! The LGFA will give water companies a special discount if they hit green targets. What water company would turn that down?

The discount comes out of the dividend to councils, which means YOU end up paying for it in your rates. But that is not even the bad part!

The green targets are set by Planetary Boundaries, a United Nations environmental organisation, operating out of the extreme-woke University of Stockholm and funded by the Club of Rome. https://www.stockholmresilience.org/research/planetary-boundaries.html and https://www.clubofrome.org/limits-to-growth/stockholm50/.

Do they really have YOUR best interests at heart?

The green targets are focused on cutting nitrogen and phosphorus, which you may know better as fertiliser, the stuff that makes our food grow. It is rather important to our farming economy. The goal is a 59 per cent reduction in nitrogen and 37 per cent reduction in phosphorus.

Of course, if the targets aren’t reached, there are penalties.

As section 3.7 of the Lending Programme Criteria gives the LGFA the power to change the targets at any time, whenever Planetary Boundaries say ‘jump’, it is not a deal that any rational person would touch, so we can expect most water companies to take it up.
