They LOVED Tremain When He Made Fun of Whaleoil

Table of Contents

The Witch hunt against Garrick Tremain shows how easily a cartoonist can fall out of favour in today’s super Woke world. When Tremain mocked the number one NZ Political blog  Whaleoil during the Dirty Politics saga the luvvies lapped it up and chortled into their Soy lattes.

No one complained that he wasn’t satirising Nicky Hager or the hacker Rawshark because those two lowlifes were the lefties’ heroes. They were both key players in the made for MSM drama that was ‘Dirty Politics’ but it was Whaleoil and Cameron Slater that Tremain (no doubt at the request of his editor) drew day after day.
