Since the online right basically won the US election, it’s only fitting that we look at one of the movement’s most immortal ideas – ‘the woke are more correct than the mainstream’.
Coined sometime in the first Trump administration by the anonymous Twitter user “CovfefeAnon,” this quip made an impact because it recognised that the woke communists often have a far better grasp on reality than their weekend warrior part-time leftist colleagues. Even when you’re wrong, being effective requires knowing how the world really works. And communists have been very effective over the last 200 years.
