Trump Puts Hamas on Notice

Release the hostages, or else.

Was anyone really so gullible as to believe that Hamas would keep to their word and release the remaining October 7 hostages? For a start, that would require them to actually be alive. Something it is increasingly clear they are not. Then there’s the issue of negotiating with bloodthirsty terrorist savages in the first place.

President Trump is making it clear that Hamas has just one option.

Donald Trump has demanded that all Israeli hostages are released by noon on Saturday (local time) or “all hell will break loose.” Mr Trump made the remarks after Hamas announced it would postpone any further hostage-prisoner exchanges, accusing Israel of violating the terms of their fragile ceasefire. Jerusalem said its military was readying for “any possible scenario” and the Israeli Defence Forces raised the level of alert and cancelled leave.

Mr Trump said the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas should be cancelled unless the hostages are freed on Saturday, attacking the “terrible” threat to delay the next hostage release.

“If all the Gaza hostages aren’t returned by Saturday at 12pm, I would say cancel the ceasefire. Let all hell break loose; Israel can override it,” he told reporters in the Oval Office.

Like anyone with a functioning brain, Trump is horrified by what we’re learning from the still-living hostages released so far. The sort of horrific torture, brutalisation and starvation associated with the worst of Nazi Germany.

He repeated his condemnation of Hamas’s treatment of hostages, saying the three men who were released at the weekend looked like holocaust survivors.

On Monday (AEDT) Mr Trump warned: “I don’t know how long we can take it.”

“They were in horrible condition. They were emaciated. You know, at some point, we’re gonna lose our patience,” he said.

Israelis have become increasingly distressed by the handover ceremonies staged by Hamas, in which hostages are paraded on a makeshift stage with certificates and filmed praising their captors.

Which, it might be worth pointing out to the bellowing morons of the left, is a bona fide, unequivocal war crime.

Parading POWs through the streets and distributing images of their corpses as propaganda are the most obvious examples of treatment that would violate the [Geneva Conventions] rules. But the term ‘exposure to public curiosity’ also covers the simple disclosure of images of POWs, recordings of interrogations or private conversations, personal correspondence, and any other private data.

Even if POWs appear to make voluntary public statements or willingly participate in the recording of images, disclosure to the public remains unlawful.

If the drooling anti-Semite left want to claim that ‘Palestine’ is a ‘state’, then they must also accept that, as its elected government, Hamas is bound by the laws of war. Which include, not only not taking civilians as hostages, but also strictly prohibits torture.

Eli Sharabi, Or Levy and Ohad Ben Ami, who were freed on Saturday have told their families they were kept chained and gagged, burned with a “white hot” object and hung by their feet, in descriptions that have horrified Israel.

The mother of Eliya Cohen, who remains in captivity, has said her son was held with returning hostages who told her he was has been chained in a tunnel for the entire length of his captivity, gets little food or daylight, and suffers from an untreated bullet wound to the leg sustained during the October 7 2023 massacre.

This sort of monstrous behaviour has put the so-called ‘Palestinians’ beyond the pale of civilised conduct. They no more deserve to be allowed to remain in occupation of the Jewish homeland they invaded just a couple of generations ago than Germans had any right to remain in eastern European countries after WWII. Millions of ethnic Germans were expelled following the defeat of the Nazi regime they supported, and no one called it anything but well-deserved.

And on Monday the US president told Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier that Palestinians would not have the right to return to Gaza.

“I’m talking about building a permanent place for them because if they have to return now, it’ll be years before you could ever – it’s not habitable,” Mr Trump said.

Asked if the Palestinians would have the right to return, he said: “No, they wouldn’t, because they’re going to have much better housing.” He said he would build “beautiful communities” for Gazans elsewhere.

Send them to nearby Arab countries. Maybe Qatar: they have no problems accommodating Hamas leaders in five-star luxury. Meanwhile, Gazans will find the culture more congenial and their ‘brother Arabs’ are always banging on about how much the ‘Palestinian cause’ means to them. Let’s see them put their money where their mouths are.

Here’s my prediction. Poilievre will win a solid majority and Globalist Davos Man Mark Carney will be Canada’s shortest-serving PM in history. That would be a fitting tribute to pretty-boy Justin’s devastating decade in power.
