There are some words that just grate on my soul because of their sheer offensiveness. Not that they’re expletives, but because they are mendacious weasel-words that are deliberately deployed to hand-wave away enormities. Worse, they so often get cluelessly parroted by even people who should be appalled by what they represent.
‘Biological women’, for instance. This tautology is as nonsensical as saying ‘aquatic fish’. But gaslighting you into repeating it does half the job for the trans-activists: you’re implicitly ceding them the foolish argument that ‘sex and gender are separate’, which is a short prance to, ‘trans-women are women’. All because, as Orwell wrote, “the average human being never bothers to examine catchwords”.
Another grating catchword is ‘Islamist’. The explicit goal of this idiotic phrase is to imply that the foaming-at-the-mouth jihadis are somehow ‘not real Muslims’. But they are real Muslims. Very real Muslims. The only difference between the head-lopping, raping jihadist and those nice ‘peaceful majority’ Muslims is how committed they are to following Islamic scripture.
And so we arrive at the ludicrous situation where the invading hordes of almost entirely fighting-age male Muslims swamping the West are soft-soaped with the weasel-word ‘Islamist’.
For a long time, Islamist rhetoric in Morocco has painted Europe as a kind of promised land, a place where welfare never runs out, chances are everywhere and prosperity comes easily. The objective has been to weaken trust in Morocco’s institutions and steer young people towards leaving.
And this is what they chose to do last week, in droves. Watching tens of thousands of Moroccan Muslims swarming across the barrier into Spanish territory couldn’t be mistaken for anything other than what it was: a full-scale invasion. Does anyone doubt that, like Sand People in every galaxy, they’ll soon be back – and in greater numbers?

The same ideological current also pushes a claim that Morocco is trying to “reclaim Muslim land” via Ceuta and Melilla. In reality, no Moroccan government has expressed such a demand to the UN.
They don’t have to. Islamic leaders are doing it for them.
A Moroccan Islamist [there’s that word again] leader has argued publicly that the country “must eventually regain control of Ceuta and Melilla”.
The mass invasion of last week looked, in that respect, very much like a war-gaming exercise. Maybe most of the border-swarmers went back after enjoying a day or so of relaxing looting and pillaging, but now they know the Spanish government’s weaknesses. Does anyone really doubt they’ll try it again?
Maybe this isn’t, as some are pleading, an official position of the Moroccan government – but so what? As the blatherskite from Islamic leaders makes clear, it’s very much the position of the Imams and mosques.
Who do we think the tens of thousands of men on the ground are going to listen to?

This latest episode primarily will benefit Islamists who want Europe to fail and Morocco, denounced in their rhetoric as a “Zionist” state, to fail alongside it. Every crisis that deepens polarisation, weakens European governments and reinforces the narrative of a failing Morocco advances the ideological project they have pursued for years.
For 1600 years, in fact. This has been the pattern of Islamic expansion since Muhammad was booted out of Mecca. Today, many prominent Muslims are saying it openly, for those who have ears to hear.
Americans need to know the truth behind the story. Zohran Mamdani used to say America needs to accept mass migration.
Zohran Mamdani said “I consider my own faith, Islam, a religion built upon a narrative of migration. The story of the Hijra reminds us that Prophet Muhammad was a stranger too, who fled Mecca and was welcomed in Medina.”
And how did he repay the kindness of Medina, a mostly Jewish city?
He […] he made a treaty with the Jewish tribes, establishing himself for the first time as a political leader. So Muhammad continued to gain followers and grow politically and militarily until he eventually got big enough and strong enough that he just decided, ‘Well, I don’t have to follow these treaties anymore.’ And so for two of the tribes, he voided the treaty, and he cast them out. He expelled them out of Medina.
The final tribe that was still in Medina, he brought all of the men from the tribe into the middle of the city and beheaded them and then all of the women and the children from the tribe were either sold off or brought into slavery.
This is the story Mamdani openly uses as his reasoning for America to accept mass Muslim migration. The story that ended with the mass murder and slavery of the host peoples, and the violent conquest of the land, claimed ever since as inviolable Muslim territory.
That’s real Islam for you.
