Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

Here are some cover versions of one song along with the original, let us know in the comments which is your favourite, or if you don’t like any of them.

“Children Of  The Revolution” is a song written by Marc Bolan and first released by T. Rex as a 1972 single.

It has been covered by several acts including:

Killers on their 1992 album “Murder One”.

Bono, Gavin Friday and Maurice Seezer teamed up to record a version for the soundtrack to the movie “Moulin Rouge”.

Scorpions on their 2011 album “Comeblack”.

Simple Minds included their version on the 2019 re-master of their 2009 album “Graffiti Soul”.
