Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

Here are some cover versions of one song along with the original, let us know in the comments which is your favourite, or if you don’t like any of them.

“Before You Accuse Me” is a song written and recorded by Bo Diddley and released in 1958.

13th Floor Elevators covered it in concert and a recording was included on their 1968 album “Live”.

Creedence Clearwater Revival included a version on their 1970 album “Cosmo’s Factory”.

Eric Clapton included an electric version on his 1989 album “Journeyman”

Eric also recorded an acoustic version on his 1992 “Unplugged” album.
