Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

Here are some cover versions of one song along with the original, let us know in the comments which is your favourite, or if you don’t like any of them.

“I Got A Line On You” is a song written by Randy California of the band Spirit and first released as a single in 1968 and on Spirit’s 1969 album “The Family That Plays Together”.

It has been covered by several acts including:

Blackfoot covered it on their 1979 album “Strikes”.

Alice Cooper put his take on it on the 1988 soundtrack to “Iron Eagle II”.

Jeff Healey included it on his 1995 covers album “Cover To Cover”.

The Hollywood Vampires put their spin on it on their 2015 debut album “Hollywood Vampires”.
