Here are some cover versions of one song along with the original, let us know in the comments which is your favourite, or if you don’t like any of them.

“I Fought The Law” is a song written by Sonny Curtis and first released by The Crickets on their 1960 album “In Style With The Crickets”.

It has been covered by many acts including:

The Bobby Fuller Four released their version in a 1964 single.

Roy Orbison included it on his 1972 album “Memphis”.

The Wild Angels on their 1972 album  “Out At Last”.

The Clash on their 1979 EP “The Cost Of Living”.

The Stray Cats on their 1989 12 inch single “Bring It Back Again” and subsequent 1993 album “Original Cool”

Status Quo included their version on the 2003 album “Riffs”.
