Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

Here are some cover versions of one song along with the original, let us know in the comments which is your favourite, or if you don’t like any of them.

“ Reelin’ and Rockin’ ” is a song written by Chuck Berry and released as the B side to “Sweet Little Sixteen” in 1958.

It has been covered by many acts including:

The Dave Clark Five on a 1965 single.

Cliff Richard (with The Shadows) on his 1965 album “Cliff Richard”.

George Thorogood and The Destroyers on their1986 live album “Live”.

Alex Harvey included it on the 1999 re-release of his 1964 debut album “Alex Harvey and His Soul Band”.
