“Needles and Pins” is a song written by Sonny Bono and Jack Nitzsche and first recorded and released by Jackie DeShannon in 1963.

It has been covered by many acts including:

Smokie included it on their 1977 album “Bright Lights and Back Alleys”.

The Ramones on the 1978 album “Road To Ruin”.
