Faces of the Day

Music and film tragics have had one burning question over the past 14 months: who will play The Beatles?

It’s already considered one of the more ambitious film projects of recent times, and now director Sam Mendes has revealed who will play the legendary British band in a forthcoming series of four separate biopics.

At a speech at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Monday night, local time, Mendes was joined on stage by the four actors who will play The Beatles.

Paul Mescal will play Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson will be John Lennon, Joseph Quinn is George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan takes on the role of Ringo Starr.

On stage, the four men reportedly recited a line each from The Beatles’ 1967 song “Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” before giving a Beatles-esque bow to the crowd of movie theatre industry representatives assembled.
