When Donald Trump was accused of denigrating members of the Armed Forces recently, the legacy media jumped all over themselves to get a dig in. ‘Trump is evil’, ‘he secretly hates the military’, were the sorts of comments being bandied about. It didn’t matter that the whole thing seems to have been untrue.
So when actual video of Democrat Presidential Nominee Joe Biden surfaces where he calls members of the military “stupid bastards”, nothing much is said. It’s OK when the left do it apparently.
Biden was giving a speech to assembled military in Abu Dhabi on March 7, 2016 when, failing to get much response from those present, stated:
And I want you to know notwithstanding what you may hear about me, I have incredibly good judgment. One, I married Jill. And two, I appointed Johnson to the academy. I just want you to know that. Clap for that, you stupid bastards.
Failing to get the response he expected, Biden adds:
Come on, man. Man, you are a dull bunch. Must be slow here, man. I don’t know
Can you imagine the howls of outrage if The Don had said such a thing?
What this does show of course is that even four years ago, Biden was starting to lose his mental wherewithal. Quite why his wife Jill still attends at his side during speeches I have no idea, either a glutton for punishment or perhaps she just wants to be by his side to soothe him when the full on mental collapse occurs.
So this guy is the best that the entire Democratic Movement in the USA can come up with!
The world will soon get to see just how much Biden’s mental state has slipped as the American Presidential Debates start Tuesday (US time).
Trump versus Biden, this is going to be epic.
Well, I mean it will be if Biden remembers to put his pants on and actually show up. Many pundits are suggesting he is likely to get a note from his Doctor and have to give it a miss. Apparently there is a virus going round.
