Dear Editor

I watched with interest the Prime Minister saying she was pleased with the way the vaccination rollout is going. How can she be pleased when we are one of the slowest of any OECD country? I suppose when you look at her and her government’s achievements something that’s is at least making some sort of slow progress is an achievement.

In all my years I have never seen a more hopeless government. They talk the talk but cannot walk the walk. The two Woods in her government should really be the best reason why the statement “they can’t see the forest for the trees” came into existence.

After Michael Woods failed completely at getting light rail to even get off the ground costing us millions with nothing to show for it he decides on a walking bridge over the harbour. I wonder if they were to take a vote on how many Aucklanders want this bridge or light rail how the vote would turn out?

Then we have Megan Woods in charge of Kiwibuild and look at what she’s achieved. She spent thousands of dollars on a presentation to show us how she failed. If she’s the go-to fix-it person I hope not many things break.

I have always said a team is only as good as its leader and that statement says it all. I have read many times that people think Ardern’s a great leader but it takes more than rhetoric to lead and all she does is talk she certainly can’t deliver.

Now I have read people pay good money to talk to these government Ministers? This makes me wonder who would actually pay money to talk to people who have achieved nothing but failure?

Signed

Don T
