Luxon Would Arrest One of Our Allies

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has stated that, as a supporter of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and its rulings, New Zealand would enforce any arrest warrant issued by the ICC against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he were to enter the country. 

Critics have already accused Luxon the NZ Prime Minister of overstepping or jeopardising New Zealand’s diplomatic standing.

The broader implications for New Zealand’s foreign relations with a prime minister saying he supports the arrest of the prime minister of one of our allies is truly mindblowing.

Christopher Luxon seems to lack any ability to read the room and he insists on taking advice from a gaggle of uninformed yellow canaries.
