Massive White House Terror Attack Foiled

Targets were to be ‘capitalist elites’, ‘billionaires’ and Israel-friendly politicians.

Luckily, these were the only fireworks at the massive event. The Good Oil. Image by Lushington Brady.

For years the legacy media and political establishment have been hysterically shrieking that ‘far-right violence is the biggest threat!’ And, sure, while there have undoubtedly been examples of genuinely far-right violence (and more than a few we’re finger-wagged are ‘far-right’ but sound suspiciously otherwise), some of us prefer to believe our lyin’ eyes.

Hmm. Who, for instance, murdered over 30 people and caused the worst property damage in the history of civil unrest in the US? It was those “fiery but mostly peaceful” BLM rioters wasn’t it? Even the so-called ‘insurrections’ on January 6 never actually killed anyone, and caused much less damage than the far-left rioters who had stormed the White House district a few years earlier. How many assassination attempts were made on Barack Obama or Joe Biden? Oh, that’s right: none. Yet, since Donald Trump’s second election victory, there’s been a constant string of assassination attempts, including one that failed by mere millimetres.

Now, we learn of a thwarted mass-casualty terror attack plotted for the event marking the 250th anniversary of American independence last weekend. While the arrested conspirators haven’t been named, we can kind of make a guess from their stated targets: ‘capitalist elites’, ‘billionaires’ and politicians who received donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

Call me crazy, but I’m not entirely sure the Proud Boys were behind this one.

The FBI thwarted an explosive drone attack against Sunday’s UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House South Lawn and have already taken five suspects into custody, it was revealed Tuesday.

The multiphase terror attack allegedly involved using explosive-laden drone aircraft to strike buildings in the vicinity of the event, sparking mass panic and driving the fleeing crowd toward a sniper team poised to pick them off, officials told Fox News Digital.

A “second wave” of attackers then allegedly planned to storm the White House gate, officials said

The bureau learned of the plot on June 10 and executed a search warrant in Cincinnati, where the first arrest was made.

The choice of drones as the primary weapon is telling. Iran has made extensive use of drone swarms and explosive UAVs in attacks across the Middle East. The method fits a pattern seen in Iranian-backed operations rather than the usual toolkit of domestic American extremists.

The targets line up neatly with the obsessions of the contemporary far left: billionaires, “capitalist elites”, and anyone connected to AIPAC. These are the same groups endlessly demonised in campus protests, social media campaigns and legacy media commentary as the root of all evil. The overlap is too neat to ignore.

It is not hard to see how ideological alignment between radical left activists and Iranian interests could produce exactly this kind of plot. Both share a hatred of Israel, a loathing of American capitalism and a desire to strike symbols of power in Washington. The irony is that we’ve seen that movie before, in the Iranian Revolution, and we know exactly how it ends for the left.

The legacy media bears direct responsibility here. For years they have treated Donald Trump as ‘literally Hitler’ and warned that his return would end democracy itself. That language is not neutral reporting. It is stochastic terrorism dressed up as journalism. When outlets and commentators spend eight years telling their audience that the president is an existential danger who must be stopped by any means, they cannot act shocked when unstable individuals take them at their word.

The pattern is consistent. Actual large-scale violence from the left – the 2020 riots, the firebombings, the targeted attacks on police and businesses – is minimised or excused. Plots and attacks aimed at Trump and his allies are either downplayed or immediately spun as the work of ‘far-right’ actors even when the evidence points elsewhere. The media’s refusal to apply the same scrutiny to left-wing extremism that it applies to anything on the right has become institutional.

The FBI deserves credit for stopping this attack before it could kill. But the deeper problem remains. A political culture that treats one side’s violence as understandable outrage while branding the other side’s existence as terrorism has created exactly the conditions for more plots like this one. The drones may have been stopped. The mindset that produced the plot has not.
