The UK is bracing for temperatures to plummet with the risk of freezing fog and snow before heavy rain and powerful winds hit later this week. Wintry conditions have blitzed some parts of the country over the weekend and some parts of Scotland have reported heavy snow hitting on Monday afternoon. The Met Office has even issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice for some parts of Scotland as the wintry conditions worsen.
