Pet bonds and no-cause evictions reinstated

Parliament has passed legislation reinstating 90-day no-cause evictions and introducing pet bonds. The amendments to the Residential Tenancies Act also reduce notice periods for landlords and tenants and allow landlords to charge pet bonds of up to two weeks’ rent.
