This whole seedy pandemic response has been frightful and has revealed some things about us as a nation.
1. The Bill of Rights is not worth the paper it was written on.
2. The Government, their agencies and departments, the medical profession, businesses, police and many of the public were happy to ride roughshod over those ‘supposed rights’ that in fact seemingly and magically ceased to exist.
3. The Government, their agencies and departments, the medical profession, businesses, police and many of the public were happy to bully and intimidate at will anyone not deemed bowing to COVID groupthink.
4. The courts and corrupt judiciary were useless in enforcing those rights and happy to find ways to deny them.
5. The seemingly cohesive NZ as a society was a sham, a lie and an illusion.
6. Common sense, clear thinking and fairness were totally absent in everyone in authority and many of the public. It was proved to me that when irrational fear starts modern people prove they have not advanced beyond thinking like medieval peasants.
