Judith Collins Lacks ‘Cultural Expertise’ to Challenge Role of Maori Women at Marae – Marama Davidson

The Greens co-leader says wahine Maori should decide for themselves what roles they should play, not a Pakeha woman.
Racist of the day. Green co-leader Marama Davidson. The BFD

Today’s racist of the day is the co-leader of the Green party Marama Davidson. Essentially in her video interview, she declared that because of the colour of Judith Collins’s skin she lacked the “cultural expertise” to speak up for the rights of Maori women. Only Maori women have the right to stand up for Maori women, claimed Davidson, because of their unique “Cultural expertise.”

This stance of Marama Davidson is separatist and racist not to mention hypocritical as she has no problem speaking up for Arabs who call themselves Palestinians, despite having zero cultural expertise about the Middle East and Israel. She has no problem criticising Pakeha culture and laws and, as a political activist, does it all the time.

How dare she tell the leader of the National Party to shut up because of the colour of her skin. She can disagree with Judith Collins’s point of view but, like so many on the left, instead of discussing the elephant in the marae about women (all women not just Maori) not having the same speaking rights as men (all men not just Maori), she wants to silence her and demean her.
