Jacinda:
“She has fooled all of the people some of the time, now she will realise that she can only fool some of the people all of the time”
Jacinda’s Jobless:
This is the correct term to be used for the increase in unemployment in New Zealand as a direct consequence of the “Too hard, not early enough” policy of Jacinda’s regime.
Too Hard:
Another female PM Norway’s Erna Solberg has admitted that she locked down Norway way beyond what was necessary to achieve the outcome obtained, and even this was not as draconian as the lockdown endured by New Zealanders.
Will our prime minister be as honest? Even when it came to listening to the experts the facts were ignored. Our own MOH knew that takeaways could have stayed open in Level 4 without any additional risk but this was ignored. Jobs lost as a direct consequence of this are just the start of Jacinda’s mistakes.
Not early enough:
Look at the dates we locked down and compare it to other countries. Taiwan actually did do it early, with no school closures and a minimal economic lockdown. We had exactly the same intel as them and yet continued to let Chinese tourists in, even after China had stopped internal flights from Wuhan. They could and should have been stopped at our airports. With only five international airports in New Zealand containment would have been easy.
The Ardern Family:
They’re lefty and they’re looney, her policies are goofy, they’re economically kooky, the Ardern family (with apologies to the Adams family).
New Zealand democracy is eroded:
- Jacinda’s $50 million bribe to the media.
- Suspension of our Bill of Rights.
- Police entering without a warrant.
- Funding for pet projects pushed through without proper scrutiny
