The events of the last few days have shocked a lot of people. It’s enormously sad that Israel has been attacked by terrorists but hopefully, something good will come out of it. Hopefully, lots of folks are shaken out of their torpor. These events reminded me of a curious situation I experienced during lockdown in 2020.

We were on a camping holiday when Ardern locked down the country; one thing led to another; the Police and Civil Defence sent us to a motel just outside Mosgiel for the duration. We later decided to stay and bought a lifestyle property basically down the street. Two of the other people sent to that motel, whom we got to know quite well, were Israelis just out of the army.

If you think young folk in New Zealand have collectively gone mad; spouting all sorts of twaddle as a result of brainwashing by left-wingers, spare a thought for Israelis. One night over a drinkie or two (we ignored the “stay in your bubble” nonsense after two days) we mentioned that if Israel were to be attacked lots of red-blooded New Zealanders would head over there to help out. To our surprise, we discovered that these two Israelis were not particularly supportive of their own country. They’d swallowed the whole “apartheid state” nonsense and said they were pleased to be away from the place to somewhere that respects the rights of Palestinians.

And it isn’t just them; if you search the internet there is a lot of anti-Israel stuff available; the whole works. Most of which is untrue and sickening; all of which is deliberate with the sole intention of weakening Israel from within in much the same way what we’ve experienced in recent years is all intentional. Now the invasion by terrorists has occurred, there are dead bodies strewn all over the country and numerous innocent people have been kidnapped.

Let’s hope this finally wakes up a lot of Israelis and others around the world to reality. These people are murderers, they want to kill you, and like the Labour party in New Zealand over the last century they have been running a con game; playing everyone for a fool.

It is also my profound hope that this ends the childish, illogical, notion of a “two state solution” – that cosy catchphrase trotted out by people who clearly haven’t thought things through.

Imagine a country called Palestine. Its borders are the Gaza Strip. It is now a sovereign nation. It can send out the word to every murderer, terrorist, and criminal in the entire world “come here and we’ll immediately give you a passport”. It can make terrorists ambassadors and give them other roles with diplomatic immunity. They will no longer need to worry about getting caught. They will be able to undertake terror attacks and walk out the front door giving the middle finger to everybody as the authorities cannot touch them.

Whatever naive, incredibly stupid people visualise a “two state solution” to be, this scenario is what Palestine views it as being. Oh, and there is a big difference between Israel firing missiles into what is basically a big refugee camp (as in the last couple of days) and doing it to a sovereign country. Palestine will claim victimhood and that it’s being attacked and various other terrorists with diplomatic immunity will use it as an excuse to unleash unimaginable horror all over the world.

Iran and other rogue Islamic states haven’t the gall to take this step themselves and suffer consequences but Palestine is their cut out; their patsy; their Lee Harvey Oswald. It’s all intentional, all a longstanding plan.
